I have been in private practice for more than thirty years helping clients with a wide range of emotional and interpersonal problems. I have been truly privileged to observe the progress of my many clients. I am a member of the Florida Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.

Licensed as a psychologist in Florida since 1989, I received my Doctorate in Psychology from Wright State University, with my clinical internship at the University of South Florida Counseling Center.

I have also obtained the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional  Telepsychology (APIT) granted by the PSYPACT Commission.  This means that I am able to practice in multiple states.  I can work with you as long as you are located in Florida or one of the participating states.  For a map of the participating states: psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap.

Therapy Approach

Psychotherapy is a collaborative effort in which the client's progress and reaction to therapy are very important. I find that feedback, whether positive or negative, is very helpful and increases my ability to do a good job. Each individual has unique goals, needs, life circumstances, personal beliefs and resources that determine the best approach in treatment. It is essential for me to understand each client and use my expertise to help that person enhance his or her well-being. The length of treatment is widely variable.  I find that couples who are highly motivated quickly make progress. It may take longer to make deeper longlasting changes, especially when there has been significant betrayal.  I will be happy to discuss your particular situation with you.
